I give and devise unto Richard Lamb of Barnard Castle surgeon all my freehold messuage in Hurworth, County Durham upon trust to sell... and money to be divided between my 3 children

eldest son William Adamthwaite, youngest son John Hunter Adamthwaite, only daughter Jane Lambert in equal shares.

Also to Richard Lamb my messuage where I now live and reside with stabling lately converted into a dwelling house coach house, coal house or houses and all other outbuildings yards gardens thereunto adjoining situate in Bowes... Richard Lamb to sell and to take out of the proceeds of the sale £190 being the amount of my own money invested in the purchase of the said house and premises and out of £190 to give unto my daughter Jane Lambert £10 and then to divide the remaining £180 equally among all my children viz William Adamthwaite, John Hunter Adamthwaite and Jane Lambert in equal shares... the other part of the money to pass under bequests contained in last Will & Testament of my late husband John Adamthwaite. Further I give & bequeath all my plate linen china books beds and beddings unto and between all my children... all other part of household furniture to dau Jane Lambert.
