The Will of Ann Adams

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Adams of Croydon in the County of Surry Widow I give to my Brother ffrancis Harding an Annuity of Twenty Pounds a Year during his natural life and all the rest and residue of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give to unto and amongst my several Nephews and Nieces the Children of my Brothers and Sisters James Harding and Sarah Marshall in equal Shares and Proportions as Tenants in Common except my Wearing Apparel which I give exclusively to the Daughters of my said Sister Sarah Marshall And I forgive unto Joseph Drake one Year’s Interest on the Sum of five Hundred Pounds And I give him three Years to Pay the Principal from the day of my death and desire my Executors to act accordingly And I appoint John ffarmer Esq of the Borough of Southwark and my Nephew James Harding Executors of this my Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty third day of December One thousand eight hundred and fourteen The Mark & Seal X of Ann Adams
