I read several of the transcribed wills. Folk had a wonderful and different approach as to the use of words back then and I find we have regretfully forgotten the art. I have anyway. I particularly enjoyed reading the will of John Brown of Wareham. He left property from the Isle of Purbeck, the area of my genealogical Brown ancestors. Thank you very much for making this will available to us at the touch of a fingertip. Dan Hiscoe, Oct 2009.

Great site, people have put in so much effort. Thank you.

I am tracing my Smith, Herrington and Hues families from Somerset. But have been involved in tracing many trees for friends. I love it as the mystery unfolds.

Best wishes to everyone and happy hunting.
